So I have a thing against the Google: I use searXNG, for search. I use 2 piholes, for my LAN (and VPN) ad/tracker blocker. Because creators I follow stick to YouTube and do not have peertube alternatives I use LibreWolfe with adguard and sponsorblock. A lot of cooking webpages have some good ad blocker detectors that stop me from seeing the recipes; whoppy due I can throw stuff together by myself but sometimes I want a recipe for something, I just discovered app/service that can go to the website and rip all that crap out of the page and just give you the ingredients and instructions ad blocker blocker be damned! KitchenOwl is the app/service I am now happily using it. Sure I have been using it for a whole hour now but damn it is going to make my grocery shopping so much easier!

With KitchenOwl I can stick recipes into the recipes tab and then add items to the shopping list it appears to be working out good. I have even created my own recipes to stick in there for my shopping lists!
