At the beginning of the boycott the US movement I said I was going to step away from the book of faces, I was not going to go cold turkey and close my account but I was going to stop using it. I have been on it once or twice since but never to doom scroll or comment.

I have the ability to just block it out right while I am on my LAN, but I am reminded that some people who come over may want to continue feeding Zuk so blocking Meta out right was a no go for me at the time. Getting into the expensive hobby of home labbing I now have 6 vLANs 2 for me (one local and one WG), 2 for guests (one local and one WG), 1 for my homelab, and 1 for IoT (10.6.66.0 just for poops and giggles). Along with the 6 vLANs I have 5 wireless APs, well technically 4 I have an old unmanaged AP that I am using to boost my personal wifi but that is besides the point, 2 of the APs are for guests (2.4 and 5ghz), 1 AP is for me (that is where the 5 AP will eventually come into play because I currently only have 5ghz not like I need the 2.4ghz but I want to say that I am here), and a 2.4ghz wifi for IoT.

Any who I have working WireGuard VPNs now so that I do not see ads when I am away from home and I can use my home assistant reminder setup better. I can also use pihole’s ability to block things differently on different VLANs so I was able to put the block on Meta on my 2 personal VLANs yesterday.
