Credit theft

I had my ID stolen years ago, it was not a fun time it hurt my credit and my bank balance. Then for five years I had a horrible headache for 5 years with a credit lock put on my ID.

Today I got a phone call from a bank telling me to check my card, it was a robo call so I thought I would check it out later. Later came and went, luckily the robo call called again and I decided I needed to check it out; and would you look at that my Card was stolen. So I called TD, got passed around a bit by the third or fourth person they cancelled my card and said it will be investigated.

I am grateful that they called but the effort I had to go through to talk to someone was idiotic. I made sure to keep my cool and not to tell them I will find a new credit card issuer because I want this stuff investigated and to be resolved in my favour, but I am going to find a new credit card company. Preferably one that doesn’t rainbow wash stuff every June.
