Yesterday I was speaking at a meeting and I had mentioned that I have a consultation with a plastic surgeon coming up after pride. I told the others there that I would let them know how it goes. I have only done email correspondence, and the two people in meet space at the meeting completely understood why I am doing it that way.

I do not want them to hear my voice and clock me as trans prior to seeing me. I do the same thing for every feminine place I need to pre-book, either by email or have a friend call in and book for me. It is sad, it has been a long time sense I went into a female place and was asked to leave because... But on the phone I get that all the time.
