In my adventures of data recovery I did thing and sent Walmart an email.

After a very frustrating time trying to contact support online I was forced to call and cancel my account. I have recently been caught up in some security issues and am cancelling accounts to have my data erased, while I was on the phone after my account was closed I was informed that my data would not be erased. Believe me I know the value of statistics, but I also understand the value of my personal data. You do not need my personal data; beyond my demographics and purchase history for your statistics, I fear you are selling my data to third parties if you are refusing to delete it.
