Being Straight
Today is the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalization of homosexuality in Canada. There is No Place for the State in the Bedrooms of the Nation, this was said in 1967 but it was partially decriminalized in 1969. This lead to many things; such as bill C-16, An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code, which made me human deserving rights.
I am a straight woman who just happens to be Trans, so I am still Queer as F word, going to the rally at city hall today felt kind a sort a funny. I am an ally to all the queer folk but I am straight.
