Cancelling US services

So I wrote about cancelling my Amazon account and getting the full prime cost back, I am happy about that but I have been sharing my gleefulness on Lemmy and Reddit. Conversations happened and that got me thinking what other services can I get money back for?

I looked at Disney+ and their refund policy, officially it says cancel the subscription and do not call us you are not getting the money back. I however found a phone number to make a phone call, the worker bee on the line was more than happy to refund my account but I needed to do it through Apple. After being transferred to Apple we looked at another thing I had canceled, Triology+ and a request for a refund was sent to them. I will be really unhappy if Disney does not refund me but it is what it is I guess.

Thinking more I got curious if I was still paying Wordpress for my .com domain, turns out I was and it had been paid for the year about a month ago. So I found a way to talk to a person and got refunded for that. Sad thing is the money can take up to a couple of months to return because my bank is not located in the US? Hopefully it only actually takes the few days that they mentioned prior to talking about international refunds.
