So I have been wanting to get back into football for a few seasons now and I decided this year was the year, four weeks late but hey why not?

The Elk vs the Riders. It was the weirdest game to watch; rules hadn’t changed dramatically since I last watched, I still understood everything happening, well there was a few funny plays where I asked “why?” But the “why?” Happens all over the place in all kinds of sports.

A couch got a penalty, funniest penalty I have ever seen but that’s just a side note. First half a whole 6 points had been scored, three from each side. It came down to the fourth quarter a kick was made and a person who came from the NFL made a CFL no no bring it to 11 12 for the Riders, the three minute mark happened and the Elk had the ball (3 minutes is a lot of time in the CFL compared to the NFL), they were gaining a lot of space I was hoping that they would not get a touch down; a touch down would be bad but not a game ender. There was a throw that went to the head quarters for review, I personally do not like the decision headquarters made but it is what it is I guess. Time was ticking by and it didn’t look like there would be time to respond to the Elks putting points on the board, but then an interception! The Riders had the ball watching the player run around with the ball running down the clock was amusing!
