After I misguidedly tried to update my firewall I lost my install of Crowdsec, that was put on my list of things to get eventually fixed. Well that failed update was not the worst thing that happened to me as it got me to look at what some of the weaknesses were and consider making them stronger.

I know contributing to the world of found bad actors/bots is a good thing and it should in all good faith should not have been put off to the last thing, but I needed to make sure my LAN was secure first and foremost. No one is getting in with out some serious power sure they can see some of the information coming in and some of the tags on the information going out and they can read my blog! But that is about it. I have finally got Crowdsec up and running again, and I will be able to see the love being sent my way as bots try to get into my network.
