I Am Being Quoted

I write little papers to help me cool down from things, one such paper was regarding the Trans Broken Arm Syndrome.

I am dealing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan, regarding some Transphobic actions done onto me by a doctor. I got a letter from the college saying that they were going to write a paper to go out to doctors, they asked for some resources and if I would be willing to proof it before it was finished. I gave them some local resources and waited.

I got the draft a little while ago, I made some suggestions and attached my little write up about the Trans Broken Arm Syndrome. Today I got an email from from the Senior Medical Advisor asking if they could quote me on the Trans Broken Arm Syndrome. All the warm squishy feelings, I am honoured that a body such as the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan is going to quote me! I have been quoted several different times with several different types of media but for a College such as that to quote me is amazing!

Sure the paper was written while I was dealing with Transphobia by the very agency put in place to protect human rights, but the message is the same.
