I am working on my buy Canadian stuff

So fun and exciting story as a Canadian, I am part of the buy Canadian movement. As someone who does not like being bombarded with ads I use a pi-hole system. I have been working on using my pihole to block Social Networks based in the US, I started doing this after the whole Buy Canadian movement started and I accidentally came across an X post. X was immediately blocked but then I thought what other networks should I block? I found so many that I used or are common enough that I could see myself accidentally going into it so I blocked a bunch of them. Reddit was the last one, I enjoyed using Reddit mostly for the news and talking to people about it, I had been slowly transitioning over to Lemmy.ca, today I was going to see if I could get through the day without the dopamine hit by going into the app. I accidentally hit a link which brought me into the app, when I realized where I was I had a sick feeling in my stomach knowing I failed.

Seeing as how I failed I tried to go for the dopamine hit by checking out the subs I followed. No such luck, I did however get the dopamine hit when I deleted the app and put Reddit in the regex into my pihole block list.
