Media PC

So I have been wanting to make a media PC for a while now. I tried using a M3 or 4 Mac mini as one but for whatever reason the computers would just crash and lock up so I would return it and get a new one, I tried a total of two times. None of my pi’s seem to be strong enough to stream over Jellyfin or Kodi or whatever else I try. The US boycott put me into a little bit of a pickle x86 is US technology and I really do not feel like getting an intel nok or whatever else so I have fallen for a Rock 5B SoC SBC coming out of China, if I had to guess I would say Taiwan but I have not looked that hard I just know that it is not from the US. I will not be installing Windows or trying to get MacOS installed on it because Fuck Microsoft and Apple, they already get enough money from me ($0 to Microsoft and $1.something to apple, but I am trying to get that to zero) I plan on installing Armbian because I am already familiar and comfortable with Debian based OSes. It should be cool to work with this as my media centre instead of what has become the rather limited AppleTV, with the whole boycott US stuff there has been really no reason to keep it as a media player.
