So I am losing my Apple fan girl status, in my boycott the US movement that does not leave me with many options for computers (not that I have used a desktop/laptop in years). I am going to use my iPad and iPhone until they are dead but I am stripping away Apple things regularly. I knew my AppleTV was fairly limited in what it could do but I did not realize how limited, until this year. Hopefully next week, if not the following week, I will be replacing it with a raspberry pi5 with a NVMe drive (because I hate SD cards and I just happen to have an extra one lying around) I think it is 1tb, definitely over kill for a media player when my media server has something like 4tb to work with but have I said I hate SD cards? I currently have a pi4 running my wireguard server and one of my pi5’s running home assistant, I guess it is a little overkill for the two I have a few pi0 2’s just hanging around at least 1 of them works doing nothing so it will become my wireguard host and the pi 4 will become my home assistant pi so that the pi 5 currently doing the ha stuff will be able to do the TV stuff.
