No internet

I have many smart home things around my home, on the 25th I lost my home internet connection and only got it back on the 29th. So I couldn’t ask Siri to do things for me, or worse yet I had to flip light switches. On the 25th I went to bed and I said “Hey Siri, good night.” The reply was a sad sorry I can’t connect to the internet, so I had to get out of bed and go turn off my lights (such tedious, first world problems, I know but still frustrating) then in the morning I woke up in a dark room so I asked Siri what time it was, again no internet. Checked my phone and it was awake up time, it was so confusing I couldn’t place why but just that it was. 26th through to the 28th I would get all cuddled into bed and look up and be completely confused as to why my lights were on. I would then have to get back out of bed and turn off all my lights, still I would be completely confused in the mornings. Then last night came my home had an internet connection once again so I was able to wish Siri a good night, get a response, and have everything turn off. Then when I woke up this morning I realized why I had been so confused the previous mornings, my bedroom lights had not turned on to wake me up. It is just amazing what the little things you forget about.
