So I saw a post on a trans group I belong to

One of the trans groups I belong to someone asked something along the lines of are you jealous about younger trans people starting everything sooner? As I was writing my reply I realized I took another huge step in my self discovery.

I got over that recently, my family doctor is seeing “another transgender patient” who is “further along in her transition as she is going for surgery soon” after hearing my doctor say this I was frustrated with her and told her no one is further along on their path to become Reann than I am, there are many different paths that everyone needs to take.

I have been going down a path of self discovery lately, and have figured out a lot of things about myself. This is just one of the things I found out. The only transition you can measure yourself against is your own; Not where you would like to be, not where you want to be, not where you feel you should be, but where you are right now.

Thinking more, you cannot base your transition around the cis standard either, I know I have passing privilege most of the time, but the cis may struggle with who they are as well. Am I looking into the countless surgeries to help better myself? Yes I am, and I will leave that there.
