Thankful Post 356

Today I am thankful that on my journey of becoming waste free I am able to carry on my way of wasting less money on some things. Years ago I was pricing out laundry soaps and detergents, I much preferred liquid laundry soap but it came at a cost. So I tried making my own, it was considerably less expensive but it came at a cost of making it and didn’t do as good of a job as I was hoping for. I had already stepped into the world of not using factory made laundry stuff so I couldn’t go back, what was I to do? That was when I discovered homemade dry laundry detergent, I thought I would give that a try (https://www.thespruce.com/how-to-make-your-own-laundry-detergent-1387952) it cleans better then any other laundry stuff I have ever used and is considerably less expensive. For the equivalent of a few dollars I made enough laundry detergent to last me multiple years.
