That faithful day!

My patio chairs have been spotty at best for as long as I have owned them, earlier this summer one of my chairs got caught in the wind and broke. I knew its days were numbered so I didn’t think much of it, just glad I was not sitting in it.

This evening however I was trying to rotate some of my compost, as I would find out grass clippings need a little bit more care when composting for pots. I brought the two bins together and my plan was to use a bucket to scoop from one bin to the other, that way I could find the few lumps of grass and brake them up. I got both bins together and I was ready to scoop over, but the chair had other ideas. I sat down and one of the chairs legs decided it was not going to stand for my rear end anymore, so down I went!

After making sure my knee caps were in the right place (they were at the time), I started making my attempts to stand. As there was nothing I could rely on to help me stand my knees where going to have to help me do the standing thing the most. I got to one knee, but I could feel my knee cap moving around. I eventually was able to stand up, and do the not so much fun thing of relocating my knee cap and walking it off.
