The plumber left and I cursed very loudly!
So I was all excited about getting a new water heater, I can now have a full shower without rushing. I don’t think I can stress how happy I was knowing I can have full length showers again sitting in my living room I cannot even hear the thing running which is a plus, my old water heater was soooooo loud compared to this one I wasn’t bothered by it, maybe because I had been living with the old one for 13 years I knew its noises.
The plumber was just going to replace a fan in my furnace to make it run better, the amperage the fan was pulling let’s just say it was probably making my power bill a little higher than it should have been. So the plumber pulled out the fan and went out to his vehicle then came back in, asking if I wanted the good news or the bad news first. Ever the optimist I thought the bad news can’t be that bad so let’s get it over with first so that I could hear some good news to put a smile on my face. The plumber comes and sits on the couch across from me and tells me he went to fix the fan on my furnace and found out the tube it should be attached to is broken and legally they can do poop all about it; without replacing the part or the whole thing the part wouldn’t be here until Monday and then who knows what would be found after that. I was left with to options “science the shit out of it” (without knowing a thing about plumbing) or admit that my furnace is toast and needed it replaced. I choose the latter as parts are far away, I am not a plumber, and building codes so they would had to have adjusters to come and figure out how to replace it, the original time the adjusters were going to be here was supposed to be 15:00ish but someone canceled or something and they could come right away. I held it together until the two plumbers got out of my place then I started pacing around my room cursing, I was not a happy camper.
I guess the adjusters were in the guest parking lot just waiting for the plumbers to finish packing up before they came to my door and they got to hear every F*ck I yelled out. I don’t like cursing but this girl was not a happy girl. I am known for always smiling but my smiley muscles around my mouth hole and face are not working right now. The furnace technically needed to be replaced in the year 2033, not 2024!
I am so mad right now.
