Today’s New Thing

Today’s new thing is me going to get tested for the current plague. I know I didn’t get tested for SARS when it was the new hotness. I was out of the loop for MERS, never mind that I am not off middle eastern decent. I know I didn’t get tested for H1N1 in 2008, or ever to the best of my knowledge. I never got tested for Variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease when Bovine spongiform encephalopathy was a big thing in Canada, there has been a whole 231 cases reported so this was more of a cow plague. I have never been tested for other previous plagues to the best of my knowledge, so getting tested for the COVID plague is a new thing.
