Wow I think I am a little tired. I was in the Queen City Pride Parade today! I started right near the front I would run a little a head to get a few signatures on the petition then run to catch up. I say a reporter for CKOM holding a microphone, so I yelled something about trans healthcare. The reporter than stopped me and asked if I could do a quick interview so I said I would, not because I want to be famous or anything but so trans health can be forwarded in this province! So the "quick" interview gets started, I was expecting a question or two not an interview that let me see fairly close to the end of the parade. After the interview I just booked it looking for the party I was with.

There is a trans flag, I think that may be the group. I got up closer, nope it was some church. There is another trans flag is that my group nope? Nope but I do know most of the people there so I walked slower. Then I caught some air and just ran to the next trans flag, but it belonged to some other organization. I ran a little further to the next flag, still not my group and I did not recognize anyone there but I could see Cat from there so I ran up closer to that trans flag.

After I caught my group I ran a little a head to get more signatures, than we turned a corner and I hit a pothole and down I went! I was helped up and I walked it off, only to try and get more signatures. The parade ended but I continued to get more signatures, everyone started to head in to the park to get free food from CUPE, so I put the petition form in to my purse so that I could eat. I found the TUF table and sat with them while I was trying to get more signatures. All of my spots where filled up so I had to call cat to get more, she brought me enough for probably 200 more signatures, and I nearly got them all, in total I got 480 signatures or as I was saying 3 clip boards. Yeah me!
