So my bank turned on TOTP, I have asked for this option for a few years now. Canada put in some text verification system, but if someone is interested in stealing your bank stuff they can spoof your number. I have wanted better security for years now and finally I got it!

Also moving into my self hosted life, and getting tired of being asked for money every time I opened up Raivo, the app I moved to after I started leaving the Google behind it was good at the time it did not make you say not right now every time you opened the app I got it at the time because it was good and did not constantly nag me for money. Any who I self host Vaultwarden so I wanted to see if there was a way to do it through there, my original thought was to see how hard it would be using Vaultwarden to do it but luckily while I was reading up on the does and do nots I found out that Bitwarden offers TOTP if you pay for the app. I was not about to pay for the app just for that, but I was also reading that because I self host Vaultwarden all the Bitwardden features are free! So out of shear excitement I turned Bitwardens TOTP functions on and transferred all the TOTP things over. I want to test them before I remove them from Raivo but it is so cool!
